I think I'll always love early Superman more. I wish SOMEONE would just have a spin-off which used THIS Superman in modern-day. Some would say they're the same character. I would say that those people are fools. They have the same tights and little red briefs, but let's face it. Modern-day Superman is portrayed as a demigod who is only shown as being REALLY good or REALLY evil (whenever he does something reprehensible, he really goes all-out. Usually doesn't happen though). The old Superman was more of an anti-hero, but he was consistent. His costume didn't say 'Here is a man who forgot to put his underpants on the inside,' it said 'Here is a man who looks like a professional wrestler. Except professional wrestlers don't throw cars at you.'
